Learning through adversity

“There is no education like adversity.” Benjamin Disraeli Today’s photo is a small section of an art piece I call “Woman’s Work.”  This is a tribute to the women in both of our families — mothers, grandmothers, aunts.  It incorporated embroidery salvaged from damaged napkins, tablecloths, and pillowcases hand made by some of these women.Continue reading “Learning through adversity”
