The Friday Affirmation

I greet this new day with joy and anticipation of all things good.

As I stepped out my door this morning for my daily walk the above words filled my mind. I don’t know about you but I don’t always greet the new day with joy. I admit that sometimes thoughts of let’s just get this walk over I’ve got things to do come to mind. I forget how blessed I am to have a beautiful place to walk right outside my front door. Most of my photos are taken right here where I live. I don’t have to walk, I get to walk and I am able to walk, something I am learning not to take for granted. However you start your day greet it with joy and anticipate all things good.
