Wise Words from Louise Hay

“I choose to make the rest of my life the best of my life.” – Louise Hay
The women I have chosen to quote have all made major contributions to the world. I have been personally inspired by many of these women as I am sure you have, but Louise Hay is one of my favorites. Her spiritual teachings, especially those on healing always seem to find their way to me when I need them.
Today’s quote is one I try to live by. As I get older I do not see myself going downhill or getting old and sick. Instead I see myself as getting better and better. Even though she passed last year Louise is still my model of successful aging. Thank you Louise, you are missed!
What You do Makes a Difference

“What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” – Jane Goodall
…But Not an Idea

“You can imprison a man, but not an idea. You can exile a man, but not an idea. You can kill a man, but not an idea.” – Benazir Bhutto
We Already Have Everything

“WE ALREADY HAVE everything we need. There is no need for self-improvement. All these trips that we lay on ourselves—the heavy-duty fearing that we’re bad and hoping that we’re good, the identities that we so dearly cling to, the rage, the jealousy and the addictions of all kinds—never touch our basic wealth. They are like clouds that temporarily block the sun. But all the time our warmth and brilliance are right here. This is who we really are. We are one blink of an eye away from being fully awake.”

Two Great Days

“There are two great days in a person’s life – the day we are born and the day we discover why.” — William Barclay

Is There More to Easter?
This is the Easter message I gave last year on Facebook Live. Don’t worry it is brief — just over 5 minutes. I hope you will take time to watch.
