I know. I’m living with it firsthand. Over the eight years we’ve been here, we’ve watched the lakeside resort where we live slowly being destroyed in the name of “improvement.” The quiet, peaceful life living with nature we sought here is disappearing in front of our eyes. It used to make me angry. Now I’m just sad. That’s why I post about nature and saving the planet so much here and on Facebook.

I am so sorry… it is maddening and heartbreaking to watch the overdevelopment of the beaches here… especially when rich folks bar the public from “their” beaches 🙁
