It really annoys me when someone tells me there is nothing I can do to change the way our world is. Why? Because the only way to change the world is to not give in to despair and the idea that there is nothing to be done. If we give up on the dream of creating a world that works for all we become the problem.
So, what do we do? We keep living, loving, dreaming and believing. It all starts with one person brave enough to love their neighbor, dream a new dream, hope, share a new idea, and see a new way of doing things.
Be crazy enough to think you can change the world. You just might.

I needed to see this because my last thought before going to bed was ” what can I do as only one person”, regarding homelessness after watching someone rummage for food in a dumpster from my window. So, I put chili on in a crockpot last night & will spend the day sitting in the alley outside my apartment feeding those who want it. Thank you for this, it’s a small step but who knows what’s next. Maybe my neighbors will join in👍.
