  1. In my work in the interfaith environment (especially in the Air Force as a chaplain), I often spoke and wrote about the difference between tolerance and respect. We tolerate a root canal because it will benefit us… is that how we treat other religions? Respect is a much healthier and relational way to look at other religions.
