Celebrating the Small Things: Fur Children

I admit it!  I am on my way to becoming the crazy cat lady.  Bob and I are one of those couples who never were blessed with human children so we opted for cross species adoption.

Our current fur child Callie is wild and crazy and full of life.  Sometimes a little too full of life, but she makes me smile and my life would not be the same without her..

This week I decided to teach her how to “ask” for treats instead of knocking the treat bag off the table.  It worked.  She learned quickly.  Now she won’t stop “asking” for treats.  If after several tries she isn’t successful she still knocks the bag off the table.  Yes sir, that’s my baby!

Please  visit the weekly Blog Hop at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author to see what other people are celebrating.

  1. Join the club! (of crazy cat ladies) Our fur babies are SPECIAL and I sometimes think (that) they are dedicated to driving their humans crazy, but I love it.
