Then in the right hand, that is in the strength, of Jehovah John saw a book, a scroll so full of information that it had writing even on the back of the sheet of parchment. It had seven small seals on its fold-over; probably each a different color: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, and indigo.
A mighty and powerful angel suddenly began to proclaim with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open this scroll?” (REV 5:2) Then there was a silence as one being after another recognized that they were unworthy to open this important document—and John began to cry. He cried not because the scroll could not be opened but because no one was considered worthy of removing it’s seals and revealing that which was inside.
But then one of the elders from the surrounding planets stood by John’s side and said, “Do not weep! See, the lion of the tribe of Judah (Jesus), the root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals” (REV 5:5).
Then Jesus, who had been by John’s side for he had been the one to bring John to see this courtyard scene, appeared standing in the center of the central planet called “The Heaven.”
He looked the same as he did on the day he was crucified. He had not aged. He was surrounded by the four nations and the other elders, except the one with John. There were seven people with him who had been appointed kings; and the seven spirits, angels, of which he was to become one. They were the ones who had been sent out to do work upon Earth and now this Jesus was taking his position with them.
When Jesus took the scroll from his father, Jehovah, who was the one in central authority on the sphere called “The Heaven,” everyone in the four nations and the leaders of the surrounding planets worshipped him. Each one had a prophecy and offered the believer’s prayer of thanksgiving to God for someone who could open the book.
And then they began to sing. It was a song John had never before heard and the harmony in that heavenly palace was such that no one could describe.
“You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain and with your blood you purchased me for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.
“You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
(REV 5:9-10—NIV)
Then John looked around and saw that the planet on which this glorious coronation was occurring was surrounded by millions — no, billions of angels. As they gathered around this planet called “The Heaven,” encircling the kingdoms of the four nations and the leaders of the surrounding planets, they joined into the singing:
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”
(REV 5:12—NIV)
Suddenly the whole of the Universe seemed to burst forth in sound as even the rocks themselves joined in “Hosannas!” The citizens of every country found both in the heavens and on Earth, on the islands of the seas and even those traveling on the oceans began singing:
“To him who sites on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power for ever and ever?”
(REV 5:13—NIV)
Then the citizens of the four nations said, “Amen”, and the elders and the leaders of the twenty-four surrounding planets, worshipped Jesus, who was worthy. Finally the physical Universe had received its King.
