“I am realistic – I expect miracles.”

Genie’s Note: Sometimes I will feel inspired to write something and post immediately on a non-scheduled day. This is one of those little bonus posts.
Most mornings (unless I sleep later than usual) I see the sunrise on my morning walk. What a wonderful way to start the day reminded of the love, care and provision of Spirit as well as the miracle of a new day. Today the sky was cloudy but a small break in the clouds revealed a particularly beautiful sunrise. What I call a thank you God moment.
I did not take a photo this morning but am including the first sunrise photo I took when we moved here eight years ago. Just a little reminder of an everyday miracle.
“We are the miracle of force and matter making itself over into imagination and will. Incredible. The Life Force experimenting with forms. You for one. Me for another. The Universe has shouted itself alive. We are one of the shouts.”— Ray Bradbury

“I believe that miracles happen every day. Every person is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. If only we can open our eyes, we’ll see God’s love everywhere.” Bo Sanchez

What’s a miracle you may be asking. Everything! This earth and the life on it. Our extremely intricately created bodies. The sun, moon and stars, All life. Our oneness with creation and the creator. Every day of our life on earth. It’s all a great big miracle!
Yesterday I was thinking about what is going on in our country and our world. Then it came to me that we have lost touch with the magical, mystical and miraculous. We see life as a burden or a problem to be solved or blamed on someone else. Then last evening Richard Burdick of Unity North Atlanta led a beautiful meditation on everthing being a miracle. Don’t you love syncronicity?
So join me this month as we celebrate the miraculous.
