I walk every morning as close to sunrise as possible. I walk at a fair clip, but speed, distance or number of steps are not the point. This is my time to enjoy time walking with a friend or alone, communing with God/nature/spirit, praying or feeling a cool breeze on my skin. I might even break out into song. It is definitely a blessing that just gets my day off to a good start. I am proud to be a third generatiion walking woman, following in the footsteps of my mother and grandmother. They still walk with me in spirit
