Don’t know how he did it, but this is a beautiful rendition of a newer Christmas “classic.”

Bob’s December Blog Post: Soldiers of the Cross?
Bob’s December blog post is up at http://espirational.org/2015/12/13/soldiers-of-the-cross/#like-180. This is a very timely and thought-provoking piece and also leads readers to an excellent article by Tim Suttle. You won’t want to miss this.
The Daily Angel
“We are like children, who stand in need of masters to enlighten us and direct us; God has provided for this, by appointing his angels to be our teachers and guides.” — Thomas Aquinas (“Summa Theologica”)
Today’s craft project is one of mine. This is so simple no directions are really needed. I just used a fancy olive oil bottle (a wine bottle or other pretty bottle will do), added a Christmas ornament for the head, added ribbon bows for wings and wrapped wire strung with beads around the bottle. The halo is a small grapevine wreath I had leftover from another project. This was all made with odds and ends from my craft supply stash. This is one of those projects where you can let your imagination run wild. Have fun!
The Daily Angel
“I myself believe in angels. I believe they are present among us today, guarding us, warning us, delivering us from danger just as surely now as they did in Bible times.” — Marilyn Carlson Webber
The Daily Angel
“Angels, where’re we go, attend our steps whate’er betide. With watchful care their charge defend, and evil turn aside.” — Charles Wesley
For todays angel project get out the crayons, markers and colored pencils for a coloring page. Good for kids and grown ups. Check out this selection from DTK-Bible http://www.dltk-bible.com/mangelposter.html

But it won’t last long and we can’t afford to do it often. So now’s your chance to get some beautiful art by someone you know at a wonderfully low price.
Have a great holiday!

What Would Happen if we Lived Christmas?
What would happen if instead of having a wild party every December full of over spending and over indulging, we actually lived what we say the season really means to us? What if family really were the most important thing in our lives, every day? What if peace, hope, love and light were the reality we walked in? What if we welcomed the Christ Presence into the world and into our lives every minute of every day, instead of just once a year? How would the world change if we could recognize the Christ in others?
Please take a minute to listen to Alan Jackson sing Let There be Christmas Everywhere as we dedicate ourselves to letting there be Christmas not only everywhere, but every day, every hour and every minute. This is how we change the world folks.
