There are always reasons to celebrate life if you just look around you.

During November there are obvious holidays we all know about on my calendar including,  All Saints Day (1), Veterans Day US) (11), Remembrance Day (Canada) (11) and Thanksgiving (US) (26).

But did you know that November is:

  • Aviation History Month
  • Child Safety Protection Month
  • International Drum Month
  • National Adoption Awareness Month
  • National Epilepsy Month
  • National Model Railroad Month
  • National Novel Writing Month
  • Native American Heritage Month
  • Peanut Butter Lovers Month

Some of the more unique and fun ways to celebrate  November include:

2 Deviled Egg Day   I’ve always loved a good deviled egg.

7 Bittersweet Chocolate with Almonds Day   Both tasty and both have things that are good for you in them.

15 Clean Your Refrigerator Day   I know it’s a nasty job and no one like to do it, but you’ve got to clean it, why not turn it into a holiday?

17 World Peace Day   It’s always a good day to strive for peace.

27 Buy Nothing Day  Do you really need anything bad enough to go out in that Black Friday mess?
