I walk during every season and I love them all. However Autumn is special. Especially Novemer. The air is cool and crisp and the leaves make a beautiful carpet on the earth. Don’t wast the precious sunshine of autumn by staying in the house. Take the time to go for a walk and enjoy this season.

I know. Most years where I live the leaves just turn brown and fall off. But this year… They are speclacutar. Yellows, shades of red. This is an autumn to remember.

I appreciate his sentiment but that mere carpet of leaves is almost two feet deep in places and is a backbreaking challenge to get raked up each year for this old man.
