The history of mankind is full of hatred, war, and persecution. When it comes to governing ourselves I think the jury is in. We can’t. But why do we wait until we have made a royal mess of everything and brought the world to the brink of destruction to begin to see our mistakes and turn to God? Even then sometimes turning to God can only further deepen the divide as we each turn to our own idea of God and our own desired or expected outcomes.
So how do we find our way out of the latest mess we have created? Is there a way out? I think there is and it can be found in three simple words. God is love.
Yes, God is love. To find our way out of the darkness we must let love lead the way. We don’t have the time to discuss, debate, or even organize. Love is the way. The time has come to let love lead us.
Please join us this month as we let love lead the way. Every time you find yourself in a difficult situation ask, “What would love do?”
