  1. Is it just me?
I’m finding it a little upsetting that you do all the work in finding the right thing as a Thought for the Day, and you team the thought with a wonderful photograph, and although it’s kind of nice now and again for someone or other to reblog a post which has touched them or impressed them, to find someone who takes your hard work and beautifulness, and reblogs it day in, day out, every day, and builds their own blog site purely using your posts?

Am I looking on this in the wrong way?
I know I should be generous of heart, and I am, I really am. But sometimes someone does something which shows no respect for something my friend has achieved and I just feel cross and annoyed about it.

Sorry Genie and Bob. I’ll shut up now.

Great quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson, and love the photo too.

    1. Thank you Cobs. Over the years people building a blog by re-blogging mine have come and gone. It really ticked me off at first. Being an artist and writer I’ve always been protective of my “intellectual property.” But I’ve reached the point where I consider it a little free publicity and actually at least a “back handed” compliment since word press links back to the original. I always go see where re-blogs went. If something of mine ends up on a porn site or something else objectionalbe or is using my material without giving me credit and a link I would have to do something. I would appreciate it if my readers would let me know if they see my work somewhere they think I might not know about. And of course let your friends know about Espirational. I always enjoy reading your comments Cobs! — Genie
