“October, baptize me with leaves! Swaddle me in corduroy and nurse me with split pea soup. October, tuck tiny candy bars in my pockets and carve my smile into a thousand pumpkins. O autumn! O teakettle! O grace!”Rainbow Rowell

  1. Ohhhh Genie! This is BEAUTIFUL!
I’ve never seen or read this before, so when I saw it here and read it, it had its full effect on me.

It speaks to my soul; to the adult I am; to the child within me; to the mother I am; to the person I am still growing into; and … to the silly heart I actually am.

Isn’t it absolutely thrilling how something written with brevity can impact upon a heart like a pebble thrown into the middle of a lake. A perfect example of write less, say more.

Thank you so much for bringing this to your blog today and into my life.
    Love ~ Cobs. x

    1. Thank you Cobs. One of the reasons I use quotes as the foundation for Espirational is small bits of truth have a way of working their way right into our souls and staying with us. Thank you for the wonderful comment.
