I’ve made a wish very similar to the quote by Elwyn Brooks White, many times. I don’t understand why ‘man’ has this need to prove that humans are bigger, better, greater than nature and all her incredible ‘talents’, when it’s quite clear that Nature has far more talent than we could ever hope to achieve. (sigh).
