Fall Fun: Apple Picking

Have you ever been to the orchard where apples are grown? Check to see if there is an orchard that sells direct to the public in your area. Whether you pick your own or buy already picked this a good way to teach children about where their food comes from.

This is something Bob and I used to do around the time of our anniversary. We bought a box and then I took them home and made applesauce. There is nothing better than homemade applesauce.
