“Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting
and autumn a mosaic of them all.” —– Stanley Horowitz
We don’t usually talk about how our photos were taken, but if you are wondering, yes this is a photo. It was taken from the window of a moving train. The only editing done to this photo was cropping out some of the black background from inside the train and resizing it for the internet. While it may not be a perfect photo in the technical sense, we like the effect.
I do like your side wallpaper design, is it yours or where did you find it?

That is something new from Word Press. It’s part of Custom Design which is an extra charge. I already had Custom Design because I wanted larger type sizes. I like the splash of color it gives, but had hoped “color” meant I could add color to the blog posts themselves.

Thankyou for visiting my blog, so I could find yours. I like what I have read, and your photos, which often are self explanatory aren’t they?

Nice photo and thought. You’ve captured the season beautifully. As to technical perfection, my photos are not perfect either (heck most are taken with a cell phone!). As long as we enjoy them, what does it matter?

I like the watercolor effect. Just wish I could figure out how it happened. Sometimes I wish we had a cellphone for photos. We’re always missing really cool shots because we left home without the camera. Thanks for leaving a comment. Love your blog.

Lovely photo. Sometimes life seems to be rushing past that fast. It reminds me to slow down and be still.
