It makes me sad that one of the things that is dividing our country right now is our religious beliefs. In this country where we have the right to worship the God of our understanding or not to worship at all there are people claiming the U.S. to be a “Christian” nation. And many are pushing a certain conservative form of Christianity which seems to only divide us more.
One thing I have noticed of the years that what causes many conflicts over faith and religion are the words we use. I have noticed that people stopped questioning my beliefs when I started using words from their tradition to describe them.
In these tumultuous time lets find words that unite, create unity and heal.

Words that unite and heal were already created for us in Bible. We should not adjust or flavor scripture to change meaning to our liking and comfortability. It is meant to change us. I do pray that the Holy Spirit will help us experience and behave as you describe for you define our needs well.
