A Bird’s Eye View

Once I stood on a tall platform in a State Park, looking down on a tree.  It was winter and the leaves were gone leaving what looked like a network or highway of branches exposed.  As I stood there, I realized this is what a bird sees when looking at a tree while in flight.   The center background consists of computer manipulated photos of the view of the tree from the top.  The triangles flying around the border are taken from a traditional quilting pattern called “wild geese.”
