This smoothie with a mild flavor of cantaloupe and strawberries makes a good breakfast. So, how healthy is this smoothie? As an orange fruit, cantaloupe is high in beta carotene. [Source: The World’s Healthiest Foods www.whfoods.com] Strawberries are high in antioxidants and there is current research looking into possible anti-inflammatory properties. 1. Thanks for the comment Mollie. I received the glasses new as a gift about 35 years ago. I never thought of them as vintage, but apparently a lot of grandmas have them as I get that comment a lot. 🙂 I like them — they are good sturdy glasses that are also pretty.
